Since the web is full of enticing yet dangerous content especially to the kids, schools are making use of proxies. Proxies or proxy servers act as channels to the clients to retrieve information from another server and filters that specific information before delivering it to the client, proving to be an effective security measure. This way, the school staff is assured that children are not opening any websites that can brainwash their mind and affect in any way their perception in the environment just like parents instilling guidance on their children with the use of the internet. In this case, children are the main concern since they are the ones most likely to open a gaming site that may eventually lead to aggression in their development. Hence there is what we call blocked and free unblocked games sites.

Blocked games are usually applied to school premises. If a user tries to open a blocked game, the user will be led to a blank screen and therefore cannot open anything unless the user will open an unblocked gaming site. On one hand, unblocked games are actually flooding the net. The games are varied and are extremely fun. Some are educational while others are more stimulating. Some of these games include dress up games, colorful puzzles, online shooting games, management games, and many others. Furthermore the majority of the mentioned games are also unblocked within school premises given that some of the games are wholesome and require the use of quick thinking and reflexes. On the other hand there are also websites on the net that actually give steps in unblocking blocked games. These sites even show you hints on how to temporarily disable proxies. Meanwhile different schools have different proxies too so there are instances that what may be blocked in one school may be unblocked in another school.
